Maldon Classic Car Show

Sunday 15th September 2024 sees the return of a classic car show to Maldon's Promenade Park.

The Maldon Mud Race team are bringing back the much-loved Maldon Car Show to Maldon Promenade Park on Sunday 15 September 2024.

Chairman, Brian Farrington said, "Our successful team wants to expand the number of community events in the area and raise more funds for local charities. We have been in discussions with Maldon District Council regarding the Car Show and the date is now agreed as Sunday 15th September 2024 with the fabulous backdrop of Maldon Promenade Park.'

"As such, we will bring around 500 cars to the park, as well as stalls, foods and entertainment. Entry for visitors is free but we will be asking for donations on the day to cover our costs and raise funds, as well as providing a great variety of artisan food and drink, all-day entertainment, raffle, picnic area and fun for the family. It will be a great place to spend the day or just come down and enjoy the wide variety of vehicles. We are so grateful for the support of local companies like Borough Flooring, TFP Financial Planning and Events Factor and hope to be able to encourage other local businesses to get involved."

He added, "Our team will be working with local car groups and related companies to finalise the offering on the day over the coming weeks and we are excited to see this fantastic day back on the Prom. Please do get in touch if you would like to bring cars down or if you are a business who would like to work with us on the day."

This event will take place between 10am and 4pm and it is FREE for visitors.
