All our Open Days are from 1130am to 4pm, with tours available from our May Open Day at 2pm.

Wander around at your leisure, discovering some of Brent's hidden stories.

For tours, join us on various dates starting from Sunday 25 May 2025 at 2pm for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our historic vessel. Explore the engine room, climb the deck, and learn about the rich maritime history of the Steam Tug Brent. Spaces are limited, so make sure to book early to secure your spot. Step back in time and dress in the era of 1940's if you wish

We have 2 days of entertainment running from 10:00 till 16:00 on 21st and 22nd June 2025 at the lovely Maldon Promenade Park

In addition on the Saturday night there will be a dance with live vocalists and a big swing band

Living history groups, re-enactors and promenaders will be in attendance aswell as stallholders and traders.

Traders include a hairdresser to pin up your victory rolls, a photographer, aswell as clothes, memorabilia and food.

The bar will be well stocked with local ales from The Mighty Oak Brewery aswell as wines, spirits , ciders etc

A classic car show returns to Maldon's Promenade Park with a great variety of artisan food and drink, all-day entertainment, raffle, picnic area and fun for the family. It will be a great place to spend the day or just come down and enjoy the wide variety of vehicles.
