Maldon Bonfire Night & Fireworks Display

THE MALDON FIREWORK SPECTACULAR WILL BE BACK IN PROMENADE PARK ON SATURDAY 2nd NOVEMBER 2019

The gates will open for the Annual Grand Maldon Fireworks Display on Saturday 2nd November in Promenade Park, Maldon, Essex, orgainsed by the Maldon Rotary Club with profits going to local charities.

The evening will feature music and entertainment while the the bonfire is lit followed by the music and firework display.

Gates open 5.30pm
Music 6.00pm
Bonfire lit 7.00pm
Fireworks start 7.30pm

Plus the Rotary Club will be selling tickets for the Maldon Fireworks Display in the top end of the High Street outside M&Co on Fridays and Saturdays between 9am and 2pm..

Refreshments will be available in the park

In the interest of public safety, no fireworks or sparklers will be allowed through the gates under any circumstances.

Ian Weller said "We aim to provide another memorable event with superb fireworks, set off to synchronised music. We hope the local community will continue to support the event and enable us to both cover our costs and support local Rotary charities. Following last year's event, we distributed over £5,000 which makes all the hard work surrounding the event very well worth it.

WHERE TO PARK
Please follow the AA signs for parking

This year, there will be be 200 spaces available in Promenade Park, subject to the normal hourly charges - see here.

The charge for parking in the High Street car parks is £1.00 after 5pm - click here for localtions.

Parking is also available in the Maldon Council Office car park after 6pm for £1.

Limited parking is available in the Plume School car parks for free.

Disabled Blue Badge users will be allowed to use the park's coach park on production of the Blue Badge subject to available space.

Please be considerate to local residents and avoid attempting to park on the roads around the park . Do not park on pavements or block drives as you are likely to receive a penalty notice for obstruction.

Maldon Christmas Fayre

New Visitor Information Centre in the Maldon Town Hall

Maldon’s new Visitor Information Centre is located in the foyer of the Town Hall on Market Hill. Open Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.30am and 3.30pm Discover Maldon Ambassadors will assist residents and visitors in finding out about local events and venues, travel information and tide times.

A new ticket purchasing facility for local events and performances will be provided in the Town Council Offices on the first floor of the Town Hall during the same times.
