Maldon Classic Car Show

Following the success of the last show, this event returns to Promenade Park on Sunday 13th September 2026.

Organised by The Maldon Mud Race team, the event sees hundreds of classic cars displayed by their proud owners along with autojumble stalls.

There will be an all day stage with local bands One Track Mind bringing some serious musical horsepower and a high-octane setlist of timeless Soft Rock, Pop, and Glam Rock anthems including hits from legends like David Bowie, Queen, Roxy Music, Fleetwood Mac, ELO and many more. It’s a full-throttle trip down memory lane that will have the entire crowd singing along, making it the perfect high-energy companion to a day of pristine retro engineering.

The stage will also see the return of rockabilly band, Nikki & the switchblades, with her scorching hot rockabilly and powerful sassy female vocal and the crowd loved the line up and the line dancing! And finally, local choir The Busketeers, will deliver their slick and beautiful harmonies around lunchtime.

Entry for visitors is free but donations on the day are welcomed to help to cover costs and raise funds.

With a great variety of artisan food and drink offerings, all-day entertainment, raffle, picnic area and fun for the family it will be a great place to spend the day or just go and enjoy the wide variety of vehicles.

This event normally takes place between 11am and 4pm and it is FREE for visitors.

Saturday August 8 departing from the jetty at Maldon at 6.30pm.

This longer cruise gthoes past Mill Beach and Osea Island gaining views of Maylandsea, Creeksea, Stansgate, Steeple Stone and St Lawrence Bay. Returning alongside the sandy beaches of Osea Island to the jetty at Maldon. Advance booking is required - see here for details

The Thames Sailing Barge Trust provide small group half day, full day, weekend and charter sails to the public. Suitable for all ages and experience levels, guests can get involved with sailing the barge or simply sit back and enjoy the journey.Full details on trips currently available can be found on the Trust's website

All trips have no more than 12 passengers plus the crew. The Trust is a registered charity and all income raised is used to keep its two barges sailing. .

Up in the town or down by the water - there are plenty of places to park in Maldon.

Maldon High Street has independent shops galore - there's something for everyone.

Eat and drink to your heart's content - dozens of places to satisfy your craving.

Shopping and eating is such hard work - treat yourself to a bed for the night.
