The Museum will be holding an afternoon tea club each 4th Sunday of the month as part of the Maldon Livewell Campaign, filled with oodles of tea/coffee, scrumptious cake and a carousel of fun/informative/entertaining activities relating to science, engineering, art, technology and maths and nutritional guidance.

This will offer a regular face-to-face friendly link every month for people over 75 years of age who have little or no contact with family or friends.

The East Essex Astronomy Club invite you to a day course to introduce you to the hobby of astronomy.
The day is split into 3 sections, an introduction to astronomical terms and how to find your way around the sky, an introduction to binoculars and telescopes and a basic guide on how to take pictures of the night sky.
Lunch will be provided.
In the evening, weather dependent, there will be a chance to put what you ave learned in to practise using telescopes belonging to club members.
